Is this the end for Adam Bogdan’s Liverpool career?

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has once again publicly defended his number 1 goalkeeper Simon Mignolet after Giroud scored from an incredible tight angle which at first looked like it could have gone straight in from the corner.

Whilst Klopp’s confidence in Mignolet doesn’t seem to have wavered since he joined the Reds his confidence in second choice keeper Adam Bogdan may have taken the final nail to the coffin following his two poor performances whilst deputising for the injured Mignolet.

Having dropped a simple catch from a corner in the first few minutes of his first game this season for Liverpool he then went on to be beaten straight from a corner against Exeter City in the FA Cup. Whilst no public statement has been made, Liverpool where very quick to recall their on loan keeper Danny Ward from Aberdeen who immediately replaced Bogdan on the bench against the Gunners.

22 year old Ward has been having a terrific season in the Scottish Premiership with Aberdeen and leaves them sat second in the league having been an ever present in their starting line up this season collecting 11 clean sheets already. So the Dons will certainly miss him between the posts in their run in to the end of the season.

Having been capped already at youth level, he has also been an unused substitute for Wales and is currently hoping to impress enough to get a seat on the plane to the Euros in the Summer.

So with confidence shot in Bogdan and a young Danny Ward returning to Anfield, is this the end of the 28 year old Hungarian keepers career at Liverpool? We think so!
