Ambition:
To keep training hard and improving every day, fairly straightforward really, I just want to get back to playing professionally!

What are your biggest Strengths as a Goalkeeper:
I’m a big strong Goalkeeper who excels at shot stopping due to my excellent agility, positioning and reactions as well as my strength. I’m also a good communicator – constantly talking to my defenders and team mates – and my strong positional sense and save hands helps make me a good decision maker when coming off my line to claim crosses and passes. Finally, I’m very comfortable with the ball at my feet and have great distribution.

What is the best game you have ever played in and why:
Not one particular game stands out for me in memory, although recently against Hyde FC I had a good game and also against Holker Old Boys (See Match Report).

I can also remember a particular penalty save a couple of years ago away at Corwen when I was captain of Mold Alex . The taker drove it straight down the middle of the goal and I had already started to go one way but I managed to throw my hand back to the middle of the goal, get a strong hand on it and turn it over the bar. Everyone commented on the save, particularly the reaction, agility and strength required to make the save.

I know I have the capability of playing professionally again and I am continuing to train hard and striving to keep learning and improving. I intend to grab on to any opportunities that come my way with both hands.

Who is the Best Player you have played With or Against?

Probably Marc Lloyd Williams or Jiws as he’s known.  All time top goal scorer in the Welsh Premier.  Although he wasn’t the best trainer, he just knew where the net was on a match day!  Thankfully I only ever faced him in training!  Steve Evans, welsh international centre half was also quality.
