Scunthorpe United lose both Keepers to Broken Arm in the First Half Against Bristol City

In what can only be described as a bizarre occurrence League One side Scunthorpe United had to replace both of their keepers in the first half of their League game against Bristol City due to both of them breaking their arm.

First choice keeper Sam Slocombe broke his arm after just 8 minutes and was then replaced by substitute goalkeeper Jamie Severn. Shortly after Bristol City went 1-0 up from the penalty spot Severn broke his arm denying Matt Smith in a one-on-one and was replaced after 42 minutes.

Scunthorpe United then had to play the remainder of the game with defender Andy Boyce (who had conceded the earlier penalty) in goal but went on to lose the game 2-0.
